If you were registered and logged in, you could join this project.
- What is the goal of this project?
- To help professional software engineering refresh or expand
their knowledge of basic software engineering principles.
- How can you participate?
- You can join the group by requesting an Observer role in this project and/or subscribing to the project mailing list.
We do the following each week:
- The discussion leader selects a technical paper
- Everyone reads the paper
- The leader provides a summary, and everyone discusses the paper
To fully participate, you need to be a member of ACM and/or IEEE Computer Society so that you
can access on-line copies of the technical papers.
If you would like to lead a discussion one week, or if you have
difficulties accessing technical papers, please email
jrobbins@tigris.org.
- What is the scope of this project?
- Over the course of a year, the papers covered will be roughly the
same as the required reading for a Masters degree in Software
Engineering.
- What is the status of this project?
- It has been inactive for many months, but now we have enough
people to make it a success. We will start discussing readings again
in mid-June, 2003.
